Jumbuck's Misadventure

Sally Nowlan uses her experience as a former sheep farmer, a vet nurse, and rural journalist to engage the reader with her detailed knowledge of rural life, and sheep. 

The floor was moving and Jumbuck rocked on his hooves as he watched more and more sheep climbing up the ramps into this strange floating thing. Later that night, with rumbling shakes and loud thumping, it started moving. Jumbuck watched as the lights on the shore gradually faded away. He was on his way to the live export markets in the Middle East.
