A haunting little piece that moves from everyday humdrum to the kind of violent ultra-reality more familiar to "TJ" citizens than to Americans and other First World citizens, "Just WAKE UP" also resonates from the dissonance of its deadpan text and delicate drawing. Just as the "end" of the "story" is not what the reader expects, there is an odd, questioning air behind the entire project.
