Desperate for money, Felix McTurk, a free-lance data detective in near future Manhattan, accepts two different cases. The first from a pop star searching for answers regarding the death of her parents. The second from a mysterious stranger who needs to retrieve missing data buried in the net. With his ragtag crew of teenage cyber-fliers, Felix discovers the cases are related, leading to a confrontation with McTurk's former firm, Offworld Lifting and Development and the earth-shattering secret they are hiding.
