Kendrick’s Monster

Kendrick is an officer of the law. He is also a deranged psychotic, a man who obeys the wicked commands of a sinister voice, which only he can hear. When he makes a tour of duty on the nightshift, people die violently and mysteriously. When he returns to the university to finish his degree, faculty, staff and students suffer horrendous fates. Too often, his professional investigations produce unexpected corpses and innocent suspects irrevocably implicated by fabricated evidence. Despite the rising body count, Kendrick passes through it all oddly protected, above suspicion, and apparently impervious to defeat. Only a fatal mistake can hang him.
