Brad England had always loved dull Falmouth with its thirsty, testy tunnels. It was a place where he felt healthy.
He was a kind, admirable, squash drinker with spiky fingers and curvy eyes. His friends saw him as a cool, calm coward. Once, he had even helped a spluttering blind person cross the road. That's the sort of man he was.
