An ordinary evening turns tragic in an instant.

Moving to a new town is difficult enough, but when an ordinary get together turns into a tragic event, calling a place home becomes even more challenging.

To Alan and Anne, newcomers to a small town on the South Shore of Nova Scotia, making friends was proving a challenge.  Then, Stephen and Jane move in across the street and Anne takes the opportunity to invite them over one night for coffee.  The biggest snowstorm in years doesn’t stop the evening from happening, but the bad weather is the least of their worries. 

A relaxing evening turns into a night none of them will ever forget.
