Kings of the Crumble is a middle-grade adventure starring Will, a head-in-the-clouds boy from suburban Chicago, one of the lucky few modern people whose power is unlocked by the Crumble. But even better than gaining magic he gains the belief that he can solve his parents' mysterious disappearance which has haunted him for years. 


Will hopes that his family will finally be reunited if he and his friends follow the portents calling him south-west into the wonder and dread of a war-torn world.


For fans of the later Harry Potter books and the His Dark Materials trilogy, Kings of the Crumble is the first in a series. A story of epic quests, ferocious battles, and how one mild-mannered eleven year old wins the apocalypse.
