I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The author devised some characters that I found very interesting. The protagonist in particular was a wonderfully flawed character. The setting of the story was a great choice also. I found the story very compelling. I like this author.

Found this book on Amazon and can honestly say I am not disappointed at all. From the adorable monkey to the fast-paced fight scenes and the shocking ending I am definitely reading the next book in the Ruby Steele Mystery series

Very good read
Inconsistencies
It probably says more about me than about the author but inconsistencies in a book drive me crazy. A Corvette doesn’t have a back seat, never mind a “rear passenger door.” There is no way a full grown adult could be stuffed in the trunk of a Lamborghini. Surgeons don’t work on Sundays unless it’s a dire emergency and, typically a $4,000.00 car is not a “rust bucket” (and what kind of car is it anyway?!?).
These are simple research questions that the author, if not the editor should have been aware of. I’m a car guy so I know that probably many people wouldn’t even pick up on them but they drive me around the bend (pardon the pun).
Other than that, a pretty good concept and interesting story line of a single Mom doing her best to cope in a weird world. Maybe book 2 will be better. We’ll see.
