This felt so different to every other second chance I’ve read
I didn’t realize how much I’d been missing these characters until I started to read about them again. This felt so different to every other second chance I’ve read. There were a lot of misconceptions and heartache tangled up in the reasons Freja and Axel were parted all those years ago, and I loved seeing them get a chance to finally clear the air and learn the truth. I also adored watching as their extended family grew even more and that final reveal left me choking back the tears. I don’t know what the author has up her sleeve for the future of these characters, but my fingers are crossed that this wasn’t the last story we’ve seen about them.
