Some empirical evidence for this thesis may be found in The Integrity Dividend (Simons 2008): "... [hotel] managers who keep their word and live by their stated values get more from their workers--and higher profits." (US News & World Report, October 27, 2008, p. 84) Given the recent world-wide financial meltdown, we could use an integrity-based decision-making process.
