This is the story of Bart, the boy who dreamed of the Super Rats, an army of rodents trained to improve people's lives. Thanks to their sense of smell, Bart's rats detect landmines all over Africa and help research diseases such as tuberculosis. With his love for animals, his creativity and perseverance, Bart has helped create a better world. Bart Weetjens' story is of someone who, at a very young age, realized that there were things around him that didn't work well, and that maybe he could do something to change them. So he thought of a solution, looked for teammates to carry it out and started a very important project to contribute to a better world.
