Publisher Description
My book is a Memoir. A collection of life's memories from 1938 to about 2000. I was a small town country boy, raised in the deep South with most of my youth spent with my grandmother in Bentonia, Mississippi (Home of the famous Blue Front Cafe). It includes tales from my childhood, through my teen years and my military years. The theme of my life, after a shotgun wedding at 19, was a continual search for happiness; for meaning. It tells of two miracles that I experienced, and how God led me to what I was meant to be: happy in marriage, and becoming a high school teacher where I created a most unusual leadership training program that changed the lives of hundreds of my students and that eventually, however, led to my being fired.
