Led by His Past

Moments after Lynn Callahan announces her pregnancy to the proud and excited father, Private Eye Jake Connolly's elation is cut short when his long-estranged ex-girlfriend barges into his office and demands him to investigate the murder of her sister. The cops have charged the husband, but supposedly, the killer is still out there. Jake doesn't want to take the case, but Lynn convinces him to look into it, as the woman is clearly desperate. Now, instead of focusing on his future family, he's led by his past through a challenging maze of secrets, lies, and conflicting evidence that test his determination to find justice for his ex and be done with her. The murderer is clever, the police have tunnel vision, but for Jake's life to move forward with Lynn and the baby, he must think like a killer before the killer strikes again, closer to home.
