I think most people assign the flow of words in their heads into categories of believability. The conventional idea is that dream language is "one sort of truth," and that awake we deal with a more concrete reality, shaded by the exigencies of interpersonal relationships, spiritual practice, the logic of science, the need to obey an authority, and other life necessities.
