Life Gets Complicated

Becky Wilson's life as a book editor at a publishing company gets very complicated when her twelve-year-old daughter Sandy is attacked by a man who broke into their home. He attempted to rape the girl and as a result was killed by her enraged mother.

The police officer who investigates the crime, Sergeant Dan Jeffries, becomes very special to Becky and Sandy until complications in his life make it necessary for him to take over the major custody of his two-year-old son, Mike.

As a volunteer with Crime Stoppers, Becky presents talks to junior and senior high school students about drugs, cyber bullying and the danger of on-line pedaphiles.
