Publisher Description
My passion for writing was sparked over thirty years ago when I composed my first poem in memory of a family friend who had passed away. The tinder of that passion, however, truly began to glow during high school, when my English teacher would often remind me that the assignment was three pages, not twenty-three. In turn, those early flames were originally kindled by my mother, who encouraged both my sister and me to read during every spare moment we had. I don't consider myself prolific by any means, but I feel that when inspiration does strike, my words flow with empathy, clarity, and emotional depth. My poetry explores the universal rhythms of life, love, loss, death, hope, and the spaces in between. Though life's realities can be heavy, my writing often carries a thread of light: a belief in love, in dreams, and in the resilience of the human spirit. Through my words, I aim to offer both reflection and insight into the constants of the human experience.
