This book is a memoir about theater, as well as a plea to the education system to fund theater departments. Here is a random excerpt:

"Who wants to dress up as Flapper girls and do a little cameo in the show tomorrow?"

"All of us, absolutely."

There was no need to beg, ask twice, or honestly to even finish the question. The next morning, in front of a hundred parents, the three of us squeezed into fishnets, short skirts, and form-fitting tops, sweating in ridiculous wigs and dancing like fools in 10 AM bliss.
