Little Dorrit - Illustrated

Charles Dickens (1812 – 1870) Victorian novelist who created some of the most memorable characters in English Literature, while also criticizing the worst excesses of Victorian society. Novels included Oliver Twist, Great Expectations, Little Dorrit, and David Copperfield.
Charles Dickens was born in Portsmouth on 7 February 1812, to John and Elizabeth Dickens.
As a child, Charles experienced the fickle hands of fate; he was first taught at a private school before being removed because of his family’s financial hardship.

Little Dorrit is one of the most lyric, psychologically convincing, and tragic novels by the great Charles Dickens. It belongs to the pearls of his legacy. It is a story of a young woman who took the concern for a whole big family on her own tiny shoulders. This story could happen only in “Victorian” England. Dickens does not change his style – even in this novel, drama is found side by side rather convincingly and naturally with soft humor and severe sarcasm, the plot captivates and amazes, and the charisma of the main heroine makes a reader feel and wait for happy changes together with her.
