Little Time Left

James Dawson, chief engineer is affronted by a Gnome eight inches tall. He explains he is sent here by the Galactic Federation. His mission is to see that the open pit mine in Marnyy, Russia – the second largest open pit mine on planet earth – does not begin underground excavations as they would discover a specific mineral. This mineral has never been seen on earth. Should it be discovered, it would be disastrous to all. Due to corruption within the company where James works, he is fired and they wonder if the mission will be successful as there is Little Time Left.
