Custis Long likes blowhard politicians even less than unwanted publicity. But he gets hit with both barrels when he saves presidential up-and-comer Gordon Maxwell from a deranged assassin in Denver. And things only get worse when Maxwell and his beautiful wife persuade Long into acting as a bodyguard on Maxwell’s western tour.
