Publisher Description
Love never truly ends… sometimes it just waits to be found again.
Since losing her husband, Cari McKenna has poured her energy into raising her children and building a thriving coffee shop, What’s Perkin’. Now that her children are grown and encouraging her to try internet dating, Cari realizes her world has grown far too quiet—and far too lonely.
When a tree crashes through her roof during a storm, it does more than damage her home—it exposes the emptiness she’s tried so hard to ignore.
Ray Davis never misses his morning stop at What’s Perkin’, and it’s not just the blueberry muffins that keep him coming back. For years, he’s quietly admired the beautiful widow next door, hoping someday she’ll see him as more than a dependable friend.
Helping rebuild Cari’s home gives Ray the perfect excuse to spend more time with her—but just as their friendship begins to deepen into something more, his ex-wife unexpectedly reappears, pretending she wants a second chance.
With danger looming and old ties threatening their future, can Cari risk her heart again—and can Ray finally convince her that love is worth finding twice?
Customer Reviews
Lost and Found
It was nice, clean romance with characters a bit older so communication wasn’t a problem between them.
The problem was that they need to convince themselves and be ready for new and fresh start.

Sweet story
The premise is nice and so appreciate the ‘falling in love later in life’ theme. I enjoyed it up until the ex-wife returned unexpectedly and shot him. The dialogue could use some work but the author shows great promise as so found myself picturing myself in their homes and rooting for the characters.
