Rosie wasn't expecting to have to prove herself, but when she rescues her cousin from the Forgotten Forest, she's quickly put in the crosshairs. When an attempt on her life is made, Rosie quickly sees that though she's been offered protection, she truly is on her own.

Love and fantasy
Lost Girl by Mary E Twomely continues the epic fantasy adventure.
Rosie needs to help find her cousin Roland and the gems for prosperity for the provinces. She is still injured but her stubbornness keeps her going when many would give up.
Her relationship with Bastion seems real, and heartbreaking at times. Learning about Avalon with Rosie is an adventure in itself. She doesn’t know this world, and we get to explore it with her.
There are certain characters that you want to reach out and slap. I enjoyed getting to know more of Rosie’s family, and discover that the tales she has been told may not be as cut Hey and dried as they seem. People can be greedy and want everything they can get. Rosie is friendly and kind to a point, but when pushed past her limits, she will push back, occasionally with a punch.
Anyone who enjoys epic fantasy stories, stubborn heroines, magic and adventure should read this book.
