It's Christmas Eve and so far, it hasn't been a very merry Christmas. Ben is desperately searching for a model aeroplane that he built with his granddad, when he follows a tunnel at the back of his toy cupboard and ends up in the world of Lost Property.

Ben meets Rodney Treacle, an elf working in Lost Property with high hopes of being promoted to the North Pole. From the dizzy heights of Umbrella Mountain to the creepy Aisle of Socks, the search for the missing aeroplane is on. But when aisles start to shrink and the boxes explode, Ben begins to wonder if someone is out to get him.
