This book was captivating and emotionally felt but also an eye opener in soul searching. You never know how love will find you but it does as it doesn’t happen the other way around. These two soulmates are destined to find each other and meet in an unconventional way. Heath aka Con is stripped of everything he had including his freedom and locked away for fifteen years for a crime he didn’t commit and Leah aka Twig is stripped of her freedom as well to be who she wants to be and forced to be who she doesn’t want to be. These two beautiful soulmates will discover who they really are through letters written from both their hands to EACH OTHER…a definite read!

Very well written. The story draws you in and makes you want to read more; to find out what “Twig” & “Con” choose and how Mags and Boone will play further into story and what their story is! It is rare to be drawn into a story this quickly in so few pages. I can’t wait to read more to find out what happens next!
“More than words” by Dani René
Fabulous beginning/storyline. I must admit I was creeped out by a 15 year old school girl writing to a 24 year old criminal.
Kinda weird that the farm is so accessible to town, the owner around and just hiring Heath with few questions, the wife providing food, Leah being hired for anything and both of them living in the farmhouse. The story progresses really quickly with little foundation. Heath does not act like a recently released convict who was imprisoned for 15 years.
Overall, I think this story has a lot of potential. A friendship that develops through letters is a great idea, especially between a convict and an innocent high school student. The story, however, fell really short, because it progressed way too quickly. There was little substance.
