Love Spelled Backwards

After Alonzo Payton goes undrafted, his hopes of becoming a professional basketball player are crushed. He reaches a low point in his life, but he's unexpectedly given an opportunity with the Houston Stars on a non-guaranteed contract.

Alonzo moves to Houston, ready to start the next chapter of his life, and he brings along his best friend and business manager, Nate. However, as things begin to look promising, Alonzo gets tangled in a relationship with Nina. He knows that he loves her, but what he doesn't know is who she really is and what she's about.

Nate, sensing that something is off with his friend's relationship, tries to talk Alonzo out of it, but to no avail. Now Nate is forced to save Alonzo from his biggest enemies—Nina and Alonzo himself.
