LOVE YOU NOW focuses on the back and forth, immature and emotionally volatile relationship between Harley and Jackson. As Jackson’s star continues to rise on the professional football circuit, Harley feels forced into keeping up appearances for the sake of Jackson’s career. We are witness to what was and what will never be; to the fall-out of friendship and love by betrayal, secrets, lies and loss.

M. Robinson pulls the reader into a heart breaking story between two flawed people with issues of trust; broken by secrets and lies, and a lack of communication. Jackson’s need to push Harley’s buttons forces our heroine to lock down and check out affecting their relationship, going forward.

LOVE YOU NOW is a not a story of romance but a love affair hidden behind pain and mistrust. The premise is engaging; the romance is tormented, difficult and impassioned; the characters are colorful but adolescent-like in attitude and behavior.

I really liked this series! It had me totally absorbed for two days! I will definitely read more!

I’m a fan of M’s work and have read some of her books two and three times. But this was meh. Book one was better. I skimmed through some parts- the first half of the book didn’t even get to the real plot. I typically hate books with a flashbacks- this had a lot. I wanted to see more of Jackson and Harley as an adults. They also spend so much time fighting like they did in book 1- they seem like a hella toxic couple even as adults- the characters didn’t grow. I liked the plot twist I really didn’t expect that. But the book ending is predictable.
