Maia gripped by the cyclical freeze, cast into forty-eight hours of darkness as the moon orbits behind Thule, shuts down and the colonists prepare for the long night. With her babies wrapped up warm Mẫu Thoải flees her husband, Chairman Nicholas Jung, into the backstreets of the Lotus Gardens in search of a place safe from harm. Following a trail through the storm she seeks the protection of the PeaceSeeker known as Nü Gui, a phantom of the battlefield and her sister-in-law. PEACESEEKERS is the third arc in the POST-TERRA FIRMA series exploring humanity’s future in the first era of colonising the stars. The series blends retro-futurism, space western and military science fiction as the backdrop to the domestic relationships brought under strain by the tribulations of conflict and living beyond Earth.
