Maha Jyothi

Dr.N.Mahalingam was born on 21st March 1923 to Nachimuthu Gounder and Rukmani Ammal. Dr.NM believed that his initiation into the path and principles of Saint Vallalar and Mahatma Gandhi, were his father’s greatest gifts to him. Dr.NM strived to live a life of values and ideals with purpose and vision to impact the world. The enigmatic life merged into the light on the Jayanthi of the Mahatma, and until the last moment he was doing what he believed and envisioned. Throughout his life, Dr.NM carried the twin torches of Gandhian values and Vallalar’s philosophy. It is then divine grace that he was led into eternal light on the day he celebrated both of them.
