Malta is a port-of-call on many Mediterranean cruises. The island attracts thousands of tourists annually with the beauty of its beaches and architecture as well as its impressive UNESCO World Heritage sites. The small Maltese archipelago of islands is located in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea, 50 miles south of Sicily. The three largest islands are Malta, Gozo, and Comino.
