Despite having fled their home country before Marius was born, his parents have unknowingly kept the conflict alive through their constant arguing with one another. The stories focus on the children of a second-grade class at “Montreal International” elementary school as they navigate their varied ethnic and cultural backgrounds, family situations and myriad interests and hobbies, all while learning, living and exploring together in the diverse, multicultural city of Montreal.
