Mask of duplicity
Oh I really want this to continue! So much left unsaid! Is there a book #2?
Enjoyed the story very much but feel a little down from the abrupt end!
Complete lack of an ending!
This book gets off to a promising start with a charming if unlikely heroine, dastardly villains, and wonderful ensemble of supporting characters against a backdrop of fascinating historical drama. It really sucks you in and has you guessing at the ending but then… completely falls short. Instead of an ending, the main character just sort of drifts off and none of the reader’s questions are answered. Tons of loose ends and absolutely no resolution. At least a part of the second book in the series should have been integrated into this one instead.
