As one of the sons to Leonardo Benetti, Matteo Benetti knew exactly which side of the law he was on, even if he did possess a law degree and had his own law firm. When given the option of how to contribute to The Benetti Crime Family, he had chosen to go into law. After all, if anyone could benefit from a lawyer on retainer, it’d be any member of the Mafia.

With his law firm reputed to being one of the best, you’d think that he’d be too busy to be chasing bad guys. Especially, considering that he wasn’t one of the good guys. None of them were. As the only woman currently kicking ass and taking names in the courtroom, Ivory Madison wasn’t afraid of a good fight. Though there were other female attorneys fighting the good fight inside the Morgan City courthouses, she was the best. She also wasn’t about the money, though that was a plus. She enjoyed the thrill of going up against the best and winning. Always winning.

With her focus primarily on her job and maintaining her reputation for ruthlessness in the courtroom, Ivory doesn’t have time for much else. She barely had time to take vacations, which she spends visiting her sister when she can. However, when she makes a deal with a Benetti devil, it comes with all kinds of complications that she hadn’t been expecting, but really should have.
