"Looking at all the pictures made my mind blur.... but I see I'm going to have to read it word for word to get the most out of the many tales told. If you're looking for a "how to" book on woodcarving, don't buy it- even though there are a number of neat projects in the book; but if you're looking to travel with someone for over thirty years following his passion, if you're looking to visit with some very famous carvers and some not-so-famous, or if you're looking for a fascinating trip down woodcarving's memory lane, by all means, buy this book!
