Heather Smart looked at the damp kettle in her hands and felt concerned.
She walked over to the window and reflected on her backward surroundings. She had always loved picturesque Dallas with its brawny, brainy beaches. It was a place that encouraged her tendency to feel concerned.
Then she saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the figure of Fred Snozcumber. Fred was a sympathetic juggler with sticky eyes and brunette fingers.
