This is one of the best books that I have had the honour to read about the Vietnam war. The author kept it real and shared his feelings and experiences with me. Although I was young and did not know much about the war at that time but as an adult I have read numerous books about the war and this is one of the books that helps me to try to understand what the soldiers had to go through both during and after the war. If there is another book by this author I would love to read it.
