MEET THE MEERKAT

The Meerkat was chosen as the second animal in the series because we wished to illustrate both the animal’s ecological and conservation value in a wildlife environment. We furthermore wish to illustrate that the Meerkat, although not endangered, plays a vital role in the conservation of other animals and also removes parasites and other vermin that would be detrimental to the environment. We hope that through the information provided and our website our readers will be encouraged to support conservation efforts by visiting and volunteering in existing conservation areas and their projects.
