From the strenuous industry of the fields to the simple pleasures of rest, a humble bird to a boy relaxing on a pile of hay, author Johan Wiebe has collected visual representations of his memories growing up in rural Cuauhtémoc Chihuahua for modern children to expand upon. Indeed, the series of pictures was originally published in his hometown in the early ’90s.
