Merciless Maddox

You'd have to be mad to submit to this, but maybe Simeon is just mad enough to wrangle Maddox the Merciless and his oh, so delicious 'toys.'

Simeon, the King's Candour, is dreading his journey to the Western Woods, but he has to follow the King's orders and meet with the wizard, Maddox. When Simeon gets lost on his way to the wizard's house, however, he is captured by tentacle-like vines and interrogated by Maddox, who has no recollection of Simeon.

Simeon has to prove he's the King's Candour to escape the woods, and Maddox intends to use the magical vines he's created to get the job done.
