A hieroglyph finder for beginning to intermediate students of Middle Egyptian hieroglyphic texts, this book contains the standard sign tables (signs by shape, Gardiner lists) as well as tables for uniliterals, biliterals, and triliterals, all in a simple format with pop-up windows giving sign usage information. A Quick Links page allows you to navigate quickly from table to table. A section devoted to signs used for numbers, units of measure, and calendrics is included, as is a brief bibliography for further reading. Please note that this is not a grammar nor a dictionary nor a textbook on Middle Egyptian.
