Migration and Health

What do we know today, what are the gaps in understanding the problem, and what are the future perspectives? In recent decades, European countries have been confronted with an increase in migratory flows, making migration a common phenomenon and in increasingly diverse societies. In the context of the migration process, migrant and refugee populations are confronted in the host country with a new social, cultural and linguistic context. On the other hand, the current complexity of this process also stems from a heterogeneous migrant population.
