Publisher Description

A multicultural romantic comedy about love, chaos, and finding yourself in a world that just won't chill.

Kiara Patel has a knack for turning everyday life into a full-blown melodrama. She's smart, warm-hearted, and fiercely devoted to her family—even if it means telling a few white lies to keep the peace. But love? That's been a disaster zone. Add her big Indian family, cultural expectations, and a trail of accidental catastrophes, and Kiara's dating life is more tangled than her nani's yarn drawer.

Jason Carter is the all-American heartthrob with a secret: under the good looks and easy charm lies a lonely soul drowning in student debt, job burnout, and a crippling fear of commitment. Love sounds nice—on paper. But who has time for romance when you're just trying to stay afloat?

When their worlds collide in a whirlwind of misunderstandings, meddling families, and unexpected chemistry, Kiara and Jason must navigate the madness of modern love, one awkward step at a time.

Millennial Struggle is a laugh-out-loud, heartwarming story of culture clash, emotional growth, and the kind of romance that makes you believe love really can conquer all—mishaps, mayhem, and all.

Axenna ,

Wonderful, Sweet Book.

Kiara is a young woman who is trying to carve out a life for herself, while trying to prove to her parents that she can be independent and adult. When Jason , a white man, enters her life, Kiara finds herself balancing two worlds. Will their love be strong enough to bridge that balance?
Kiara and Jason are so sweet together, and I loved Kiara’s family, especially her older brother, Karan, who obviously cares deeply for his sister. As with her other books, Dhara Shah has written a sweet, heartwarming intercultural romance. I find that with each of her books, I learn more and more about Indian culture, and she does it in such a way that it doesn’t pull the reader out of the story, rather, it adds depth to the characters and to the story itself.
