Compassion turn inward

Amazing book! It has everything we have come to love about the Mindful Self-Compassion program but with more wisdom and way of looking at each practice that makes you think about your experience of burnout in a new way. It gives you language for feelings of burnout you never understood you had. The practices are gentle enough to help you make space for your feelings with compassion while being fierce enough to make you want embrace the practices. Not to feel better but because you are suffering. It gives you an understanding that you were okay as you are to begin with but here is how love yourself even more. With an open heart and loving kindness, we can wish ourselves well and motivate ourselves to give ourselves the space and grace to acknowledge and accept ourselves as we are without judgement instead kindness and compassion. All while showing us we are not alone and we all are part of this human experience. There is an ocean of compassion to go around and engulf us all. This book teaches us to be compassionate and then turn that compassion inward.
