One of the Best Literary Works Written in the 21st Century

Diana Dawn’s third instalment of the Whispering Willows series titled, “Mirror Mirror”, showcases the author’s literary prowess! As a fan and an avid reader, I truly appreciate it when author’s go out of their way to make their work unique, original, and completely their own! I think that it’s absolutely brilliant that she magnified the magical aspects of the story in this third instalment and my most favourite is the part when glass shards from the broken mirror showed brief glimpses of Snow’s past reality.

Like the action-packed 2nd instalment of Whispering Willows, “Forget Me Not”, this 3rd instalment, “Mirror Mirror”, serves as a continuation of the action from the second one. This 3rd instalment is my favourite instalment thus far because I find that at this point in their love life, Mitch is extremely expressive of his unconditional love towards Snow and vice versa where the couple doesn’t hold anything back anymore and where the couple seem very comfortable in displaying their affection for one another in public.

I absolutely loved the fact that Mitch has conservative views and old-fashioned values! I mean, the fact that he’d rather sleep on the floor to respect Snow’s personal space and wait for their “special night of togetherness” until they’re married is absolutely perfect! In my opinion, these values need to be explicitly and intentionally added in any work of literature that aims to teach the younger generation a good set of beliefs, values, principles, ethics, etiquettes, and morals; hence, I daresay that I absolutely loved the fact that Diana Dawn added such a crucial lesson during a teachable moment in the story! Kudos to your writing prowess, Diana!

Something extremely special is happening in this 3rd instalment especially for you, dear reader, or rather, especially for Snow but that’s all the spoiler you’re gonna get so you better keep reading so you don’t miss out on all the fun! It’s because of this extremely special event that allows Snow and Mitch to be all cozy and comfortable in being very passionate towards one another and the pair of them have done a lot of public displays of affection in this one since they’ve become “official”.

With this book, I felt that I couldn’t tell the difference between J.K. Rowling’s style of writing and Diana Dawn’s style of writing! I mean, her writing just keeps getting better and better with every single book and I felt that by the 3rd instalment, the author perfected her craft because she makes you feel every emotion and she makes you feel as though you’re there in the story yourself. Christmastime in the Willows just felt so cozy and comforting and it’s so beautifully written and all you need is hot cocoa with some marshmallows in it and you’re set to keep reading this masterpiece! Honestly, please make this a best-seller! I believe that the author and her Whispering Willows series are so deserving to be in the best-seller section.

The ending was just so unexpected! The story began with Marguerite with some hints of Snow’s father but the ending was rather explosive with a letter from Snow’s late father who’s already deceased and that letter contained his deepest, darkest secret that sends Snow into a new adventure quest to find out the absolute truth. Poor Snow … just when we both thought she finally has her happily ever after within her grasp, she learns that she must fulfill certain obligations first before she can feel complete happiness and bliss, free of worry and stress! You should read this story to find out more because if you don’t, you’ll be missing out on one of the best stories ever written in the 21st century! Come and check it out and don’t miss out!
