Monster War

Eli lies motionless with one eye open, blanket pressed to his nose as a growing flood of shapes fill his darkened room. Shaking in fear, young Eli slips through the sheets and under the bed as a beastly army takes form. Rescues arrives as his mommy and daddy comfort and pray for Eli but only he can enter battle with this monster army. What will happen when the monsters return the next night? Will Eli be a tower of strength or will he again hide away in fear? What will the words, “I am always with you” mean to this young boy?
