Other cases include that of the woman who masterminded her husband’s murder to gain his inheritance...the monstrous sadist whose prison release damaged a presidential candidate’s campaign and ended in a bitter double tragedy in a quiet neighborhood three thousand miles away...the shocking DNA link between a cold-blooded crime and a cold case...and inside the horrific case of the man who crossed an ocean and several countries to stalk the Eurasian beauty who had fled from him in desperation.

The main story on this book about John & Kate reminds me of my son's father, and if the woman he married after I dumped him isn't lying then he is or was continuing to increase his aggressive behavior, I'm grateful for the common sense that cleared the clouds of love over realization mentality. Once my son was born I came to the realistic thinking that 'he' wasn't going to change. Even later he admitted to letting me get pregnant so I'd stay with him and be his "little at home girl" so he would appear to be the family man, then go out at night and act single. I'm also lucky in that he hasn't had anything to do with my son, but his family has embraced my son, spoil and love him and won't bend to their sons demands to ditch my son. Maybe I saved myself by leaving and more importantly saved my son from becoming like his father. Awesome book, great lessons you don't have to live and learn you can learn from others.
