When parents go to war, children become little more than weapons to be used against the other party. Their words and love are ammunition to hurt one another. Such a fact is known deep down by children but only surfaces later in life. 

Zach 's life with his mother is miserable and painful, but when she starts attending a new congregation all that changes. Who is this new woman, surely not his mother?
