Mr Micawber's Adventures

In the great south land Mr Micawber triumphs - clears the bush, builds a town (with running water and world's first septic tanks), frees his convicts, befriends neighbour-tribe and gets them land, fights the water battle, puts corrupt elites on treadmill, helps get rid of transportation and separate the colony, while all around him are power struggles, incest, murder, shipwreck, grand balls ... and finally Wilkins Micawber Esquire triumphs as mayor of Hobart Town. Mrs Mmicawber 'always knew he had it in him'.
