This autnor never disappoints!
Katy Evans got me like.... WHOA! And here's another WHOA for that cliff-hanger I didn't see coming! How did I not know this was a 2 book series? I could sense it coming at about 85%. But hooray because....more words and more feels!
That was some seriously sexy, romantic and swoon worthy stuff! I must admit I have read very few political romances. But whatever Katy Evans writes, I'm all for reading because she has never led me wrong. And Mr. President was no exception. Matt and Charlotte struggle with their undeniable and magnetic chemistry amidst Matt's intense electoral campaign for President. Is there anything more Alpha than a sexy and irresistible man who wants to run a country? I think not! As you can imagine, there is a lot at stake for Matt. There are a couple elements of the forbidden here, but not in a dirty kind of way. Matt needs to avoid the scandal that would come if his relationship was exposed during his campaign, and well.....he's like 13 years older than her. Throw in an unsolved mystery, and what more could you ask for? This book has it all! Heat, feels, intrigue and anticipation. Can't wait for Commander In Chief!

The book revved up much like the relationship between Matthew & Charlotte. I thought that the book would not captivate me but Katy proved that to be wrong. I actually felt like I was Charlotte and at other times I could totally become Matt. It all seemed so simple, too simple to be a captivating story but it grabs hold and you will be hard pressed to stop turning the pages. She is young but many couples have age gaps so its believable...almost like he is her Svengali. Panty-melting sex, conflict with underlying hidden love. Katy develops the characters and their co-characters to a necessary depth which makes it easy to attach to them and feel the turmoil they are going through. Cannot wait for Book 2... Would have liked it for Christmas!! Maybe if we are good Katy will share a scene from Commander in Chief!!
I loved this book!
I started reading at 2am and stopped around 8pm. Couldn’t put it down. Intriguing. Well written. Sexy. Funny. I can’t wait for the next book!
