When a wealthy newcomer to Bradley insists on hosting a séance, Myrtle's friend, local psychic Wanda, is roped into conducting it. But what starts as an evening of supernatural entertainment turns deadly when one of the participants dies mysteriously in the dark.

Myrtle Clover knows her friend Wanda would never harm anyone. But with a houseful of rich suspects, doctored tea, and secret passages in the restored Victorian mansion, even Myrtle's skeptical sidekick Miles has to admit something strange is afoot. Between protecting Wanda's reputation, navigating Bradley's social elite, and dealing with Puddin's claims of ghost sightings, Myrtle must use her own powers of deduction to reveal a very earthly killer before they strike again.
