Unrealistic
The speech and actions of the characters didn’t seem authentic to the time...from the beginning of the book, with an unaccompanied young female following a man around town, all the way to a pub and ending up losing her virginity without hesitation or regret...to the end of the book, with open admissions of homosexual relations, in a time/place where it didn’t seem to be accepted/discussed (Sweet & romantic but unrealistic)
